My newest story; Heirs of Wolf's Moon: part 1

I could barely hear my footsteps in the snow from beside the half-frozen river. There was a great looking rabbit on the other side of the river. I stretched out my claws and hunched my muscles preparing to leap. If I could just.... “Hey, Hannah!” I turned and glared at my twin brother. “Go eat fur, Tim...” I growled, still feeling half wolf. I turned around again; the rabbit had hopped away, just as I suspected. I sighed, and looked down at my cold, bare feet. “Look, Toad-brain, you just scared away my prey.” Tim shot back my dirty look. “If you could just eat like a human you wouldn't have to hunt!” This made me furious. “If I ate like you, I wouldn't be a Fire-blood, now would I?!” I retorted. He sighed, giving up. “Look, brother wants you.” I snarled at my brother before dashing at wolf-speed away. Through the wind I managed to mutter; “What does that Silver-blood know anyway?” It seemed to take longer than usual to get to our cave. I'd lived there my whole life since my mother and father died the day my twin and I were born. “What do you want?” I stared into my older brother's blue eyes. He towered above me like one of the pines that surrounded our cave. “I know what you've been doing.” John kept the same dull look on his face as I parred my fangs. “Just because you're a Fire-blood, doesn't mean you're not a human like the rest of us.” Rage filled my belly, a slashed out a claw tearing across his face. “That's it!!” He slapped me across the face throwing me against the wall. “I-it goes for you as well...” I sputtered, sneering. “Y-you're just a f-filthy Sky-blood...” I scrambled to my feet, and dashed back into the snow. I had better things to do....

PS.
Fire-blood-can change into an animal depending on what sort of fire. (in this case wolf)
Silver-blood-I haven't made that up yet.....
Sky-blood-has extreme strength, and something I haven't made up yet...

Sinestar's Abstract Contest entry!

This is my entry for Shinestar's Abstract Contest.

Hawkfrost's Secret

Hawkfrost glared down at his brother Brambleclaw, he couldn't believe Firestar had apionted him depudy. Hawkfrost knew he was just as talented as his brother if not more, and the way Tigerstar had praised him, Hawkfrost's claws scraiped the ground "Brambleclaw, that coward! He'll never pass the test father and I have planed for him!" he growled baring his teeth. He leaped down from the tree he had been sitting in and padded sneakly over to the fox trap. He curled up beside it and begain to sleep. Hawkfrost found him self in the dark forest, he walked over to were his father was sitting "Ah, Hawkfrost my son, have you tested Brambleclaw yet? I fear he is weak and will not pass!" the huge warrior rumbled "Not yet Tiger star, but me and Ashfur have got it all planned out! We'll have it done by tomarrow, I promise!!!" Hawk frost ashured his father "You beter have." Tigerstar warned "This is very important Hawkfrost! You know that son." "Yes father." he replied "You may go now." Hawkfrost woke with a start and grinned evilly I won't let you down Tigerstar! he thought.Scrambling up a near by tree. Hawkfrost looked down at Thunderclan camp he spotted Ashfur with his apprentice Birchpaw. Ashfur gave a quick glance upward and Hawkfrost gave the signal to come. He leaped down the tree to meat Ashfur and Birchpaw, “ What an excuse! I told your brother we were going out on an assesment!” Ashfur said. Hawkfrost scooted closer towards Ashfur so his apprentice could not hear “Send Birchpaw for Firestar! You did teach him what to say, right?” “Yes, I have.” the gray warrior meowed “Birchpaw,” he started “Yes, Ashfur?” he purred “Go fetch Firestar, remember what to say?” Ashfur instructed “Okay!” he replied and ran off. “I'll just be preparing to do my part.” he mewed as he padded over into the ferns. “Now up into the tree.” Hawkfrost said to himself climing up the tree he sat under, and he began to wait for his brother. A wile later Hawkfrost opened his eyes, thinking he heard a noise. “I was almost asleep!” he whispered shaking his head and giving his chest fur a few quick licks. Then hearing another noise he peered down through the branches of the oak tree he sat in. “Finally!” he muttered seeing Brambleclaw. Hawkfrost crouched down and sprang strait on top of his target. He stepped off of Brambleclaw a glint of amusement in his eyes. “Do you mind?” Brambleclaw spat “Do you want every cat in Thunderclan to know your hear?” “It dosen't matter. I'm allowed to be hear as long as I stay close to the lake.” he meowed “Come into the ferns.” Brambleclaw suggested beckoning to Hawkfrost with the tip of his tail. “You have Shadowclan scent on you.” he said “I must have picked up their reek on my way through their territory.” he growled “Never mind that, we're waisting time!” “This idea of Tigerstar's, that we take over Shadowclan and Windclan,” he started “I'm not sure it will work. Starclan have decreed there should be four clans.” Hawkfrost could feel a growl rising in his throat “Like Tigerstar said, that was back in the forest. Listen, Brambleclaw. Shadowclan have always been a nuisance. Don't you think it would be better for all of us if they settled down under a leader who could make sure they stuck to the warrior code? Don't you think you could do a better job of leading Windclan than Onestar? Between us we could ensure that every cat in the forest was strong and happy. No more battles, no more quarreling over territory...” he explained “Well, maybe...” Brambleclaw trailed off “What was that?” he meowed “Some unlucky bit of prey.” Hawkfrost grinned, he knew what it was. “No, thats a cat in trouble!” he said his eyes wide rushing over to where the sound was coming from. Seeing Firestar, Brambleclaw immediately tried to free him from the fox trap stuck around his neck. Hawkfrost glared at his brother “Mousebrain! This is your chance, Brambleclaw. Your deputy now, if Firestar dies you'll be clan leader.” he said angrily. The two brothers began to argue with each other, but Hawkfrost still was thinking Ugh, this isn't working than he heard Tigerstar's voice It's a test, son. This was making him frustrated “Go back to Riverclan. Your my brother. I don't want to hurt you.” Brambleclaw meowed solemnly, by now he seemed to know it was a test but still he was ignoring the point “Because you weak, you care more for kin than power. But I don't.” he than leaped onto Brambleclaw, pinning him down, and sticking his claws into him. He couldn't believe his brother had freed Firestar I thought he was like me! Hawkfrost began to lunge and Brambleclaw, but to his suprise the warrior had grabbed the sharp stick witch belonged to the fox trap. It was to late, the stick stabbed into Hawkfrost's throat sending sharp pains through him. He fell limp knowing his death might lie just a few paw steps away. “Hawkfrost! I...I didn't want this.” Brambleclaw gasped, with his last bit of strength he stood “Fool!” he sputtered spitting out blood “Do you think I did this alone? Do think your safe within your own clan?” the effort to speak made blood pour from his wound “Think again!” by know his whole body hurt. “What?” Hawkfrost could barely hear his brother's voice “What do you mean? Tell me Hawkfrost! Who do you mean?” he thought about replying but he didn't. Hawkfrost had begun to feel strange, as if the whole of him was going numb Whats happening to me? he asked himself, than from some wear in the back of his head came a reply Welcome, son! Tigerstar rumbled. He staggered a few paces away from his brother before collapsing on the lake shore. He knew he was dead for the pain had left his body, but before he left into the dark forest he stared down at his own body laying by the lake. Scarlet waves tumbled over it. Then he whispered into his brother's ear “We will meet again my brother. This is not over yet.”Hawkfrost01.jpgHope you like it!!

Sleetwhisker

You walk into a dim room. You can just make out the maroon wallpaper; it has little paw prints all over it. You find this a little strange but that's not it, There are pictures all over the walls. The pictures mystify you, they look like characters from books, all in different poses, even some with quotes. Your eyes fall on one right above what appeared to some sort of writing desk. (picture)
Below it read: "Cebbec Ytran" You figure this is a character of some sort seeing that Wolves don't typically have names of that sort. Suddenly the desk light switches on, you jump in surprise. The chair in front of the desk swings around on it's set of wheels and you stare down at old tourtouse shell cat. She has long, wavey fur, and silver whiskers. "Hello." She creaks. "My name is Sleetwhisker! I take it you've come to read my stories." Ah! You think. That explains the pictures. "You can sit down here" Sleetwhisker points to a chair beside her with her slightly crooked tail. It looks navy blue, and covered in dust and muli-colored cat hair. You hesitantly sit down next to the elderly (talking!) cat. "Okay then, lets begin." Sleetwhisker spins her chair back around to face the desk. You nerviusly look over her shoulder to see what she's doing; infront of her there's a sheet of paper she appears to be revewing. And then she begins.
